DaisyHug started with a simple observation: most mental wellness apps feel like clinical tools wearing a friendly mask. They screen you, label you, and route you somewhere else.

We wanted something different. Something that felt like a kind friend — present, warm, non-judgmental. Something you'd actually open on the bad days or when you want personal developement.

Our mission

"To make everyday emotional support as natural and stigma-free as making a cup of tea."

What we believe

🌱 Prevention over crisis

Small, daily moments of care prevent the accumulation that leads to crisis. We're here for the ordinary days, not just the worst ones.

🔒 Privacy is non-negotiable

Your emotional life is yours.

🤝 Complement, don't replace

Daisy is not a therapist. We actively encourage professional support when it's needed and make it easy to find.

✨ Warmth as a design principle

Every word, colour, and interaction is chosen to feel human. Kindness is not a feature, it's the foundation.

The team

We're a team based across Seattle, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Toronto. We include psychologists, neuroscientists, UX design and researchers, software engineers, and people with lived experience of mental health challenges.

We love hearing from users, researchers, journalists, and potential collaborators.
